DAY 17 ~ DECREE AND DECLARE CHALLENGE
HUMILITY
James 4:6-8 (NLT)
“And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”
Humility is one of those characteristics that is needed from of us. In fact, One of the most important characteristics of any human being is humility. the opposite of humility is pride. However, this characteristic is not needed. The bible says for us all to clothe ourselves with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5. By living a humble life, you recognize the areas of your life that need work. God gives us grace as He sees that we have that gentle spirit
1) Submit.
2) Key to progress.
3) Be a doer.
I will start with mine.
Day 17 ~ I decree and declare that I will strive to become more humble to bring Glory to God.
Stop talking. One way to practice humility is to spend more time listening than you do talking. LET’S DECREE AND DECLARE A THING! SO IT WILL BE! JUST ASK. AMEN.
