Proverbs 16:18 (MSG)
First pride, then the crash– the bigger the ego, the harder the fall.
Never underestimate the power of your ego. It’s tricky. You may think that you’re doing all of the right things, but that HAUGHTY spirit takes over and take you away! Literally, then comes the dreadful FALL! God wants us to be humble. The opposite of pride is humble!
Here are 3 morsels of joy that you will experience during this challenge:
1) Reverence God. Know that He has Supreme authority over us.
2) Stop comparing yourself to others, when you do; you search for a way that you are better than others.
3) Deal with your self-centeredness. Buckle down and accept what is being suggested to you.
I will start with mine.
Day 4 ~ I decree and declare that I will pay close attention when I am being prideful, and when I see it obliterate it!
Pride is cunning and it can become so thick that you can cut it with a knife. Let’s humble ourselves so that we do not have to take that fall. LET’S DECREE AND DECLARE A THING! SO IT WILL BE! JUST ASK. AMEN.
